«Pokušenie» — četvertyj roman nezaveršennogo cikla «Reka Chronos», kotoryj Kir Bulyčëv sčital svoim glavnym literaturnym proektom. Andrej i Lidočka prodolžajut svoë putešestvie skvoz vremja i prostranstvo. Ich put — iz Kryma v Moskvu — prochodit čerez ogon sobytij fevralja — avgusta 1918 goda. Rukopis romana «Pokušenie» byla obnaružena v archive Kira Bulyčëva. V nej ne chvataet neskolkich desjatkov poslednich stranic, odnako najdennyj tam že plan pozvoljaet ponjat, kak dolžno bylo zakančivatsja ėto proizvedenie.
